I believe 9.0.2 is what is being shipped.

Is it faster on the iPhone 6 Plus than iOS 9.1 beta 5?

Faster is a relative term that can differ for different people when it comes to small differences. Probably nothing much to say one way or another for someone aside from them actually trying it for themselves.

Definitely faster on my iPhone 6 plus. For the first time since upgrading to iOS 9 (any version , public beta or official) on 9.1 beta the fluidity expected on an iPhone is back. Battery life has been brilliant too. I now have all animations and transparencies enabled which I had to disable on previous versions to avoid the lag and stutter. Looks like iOS 9.1 will be the version of iOS 9 that all of us were expecting

9.1b5 running on my 6S Plus, 6 Plus and iPad Air 2. Super slick on all 3 devices. 6S Plus is running on a restored backup from my 6 Plus and the 6 Plus is running on a restored backup of a 5. All settings reset as part of the restore procedure (I find this is advisable to do when switching hardware).

Testing on iPhone 6 Plus 128 gig - major improvement in most ways - found and reported three bugs thus far.
Very encouraged at the increase in performance.

Testing on iPad 2 - unit became much more usable under 9.10. 9.02 on that device was very painfully slow/laggy.
I still run this unit with reduce motion set to on but once indexing completed I find I can use this without the painful
halts to anything I was doing previously.

I'm thinking of staying on 9.1 beta 5. I actually compared it to an iPhone 6s running 9.0.2 and it was pretty similar in normal tasks. I guess I was expecting too much.
