is iPad good enough for hardcore bloggers/ controlling mac pros?

From any experience or opinion do you feel ipad is good enough for hardcore wordpress bloggers?

Also has anyone tried controlling something like a mac pro from their ipad? any good?

Control how? By screen sharing or using the iPad as a touchpad? I've done both using Air Display and Air Mouse.
