Last time I charged my iPad Pro 10.5 I though I noticed a weak magnetic pull to my between the Lightning port and cable tip.

Today I went to plug it in but it didn't seem to have any "magnetic" feel at all. Wondering if there is some undocumented "feature" where the port is magnetic somehow? Just curious

It was in your imagination. There's no magnetic connection with the Lightning port. What you probably felt was that little "snap in". Apple's Lightning ports (and even their headphone jacks on the devices that still have them) have a little give to them so that the cable you're plugging in snaps into place and isn't easily pulled out.
