If you installed a screen protector on all your other iPhones, then it would probably be likely that you would get one for your iPhone 7.

Only you can decide if your iPhone needs a screen protector. It depends how you carry your iPhone or if you use a case. If you're one that is more careless with your iPhone Or is hard on it, then I would suggest a screen protector.

I don't use them as they affect my ability to use the 3D touch and it is harder to use the Swype keyboard.

However, I maintain my devices very well and have only dropped a very weird square shaped Motorola Triumph and my 5c off my lap years ago. Out of all the phones I've owned (Over 30) this is good odds for me.

If you feel you are going to drop it or have dropped a few and are rough on your devices, then I'd definitely say get one.

Despite never dropping them, I put screen protectors on all my phones and I use a case. The iPhone 7 screen is no more resistant to scratches than any other.
