Is is possible to run ethernet into an ipad?

I would like to get some sort of dongle that converts the slot into Ethernet and USB because I want to try to run a live DJ show onto a site. I usually do it on my laptop, but when my laptop was in the shop I got very close to being able to use my ipad to do it.

Has anyone ever gotten this to work successfully?

Ethernet definitely works on iPad — I've used the Lightning to USB or USB Camera Connection Kit from Apple and a USB to Ethernet adapter and it works great. There are also plenty of third-party Lightning to Ethernet adapters on Amazon/the like, although I haven't tested any of them.

Oh really? That is awesome! So I just get those adapters and it is Plug and Play?
