I have a base model of 11inch MBA with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of SSD.

When I try to access bloomberg.com/tv, I can only hear the audio but can't see the video. Tried all different browsers and codec available still doesn't work.

I understand the video is in wmv format, which means I will have no problem to play it in Windows. Therefore, I'm thinking about running Windows just so I can stream bloomberg tv online.

My question is if I were to run parallel on my Mac, is 2GB of RAM sufficient so there won't be any lags? If 2GB of RAM is not enough and I install bootcamp, how much space do I need to reserve for Windows 7?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for starting another thread on this same topic.

You are not the only one with this issue.

Before you purchase and try out Parallels, try out VirtualBox which is free:

You might have trouble playing games in Windows, but a video should be ok. Youtube works ok for my MacBook Air in Parallels.

Thanks. I indeed figured it out and I post it here. https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1105839/
