I was planning on buying a late 2012 mac mini quad core i7 2.6 ghz 1tb hdd and upgrading it with the following items:

-installing a ssd using the owc doubler kit
-Crucial m4 512GB 2.5-Inch (9.5mm) SATA 6Gb/s ssd
-Crucial 16GB Kit 8GBx2

I would use the second drive for the fusion option

Would this mix be perfect for heavy video editing, music making and downloading stuff?

please give me your advise

thanks :apple:

I'd get an iMac with a 675mx or 680mx for heavy video editing. And I'd make sure I had 3 hard drives, one for editing, one for output, and the other for my operating system. None of them have to be SSDs, but the editing drive can't be USB 2.0.
