HI everyone i just got toast 8 and made my first dvd. It took a while about 5 to 6 hours to complete because they were avi files. Heres my question my fans were running non stop for the process, will that mess up my macbook?
ps. i have a 2.2ghz, 1gb macbook

Thanks
Eddie

Its good

Hey

Its good your fans recognised the need to go on. Obvieously, if they hadn't of went on, the damage would have been to the hard drive - it would have over heated, which over time causes damage. However fans running for that long is a good thing and nothing to worry about!

Hope this helps,

Like others have said, if your fans are acknowledging that they need to turn up and cool down the system, then it is definitely a good thing. Your computer wouldn't allow itself to over-heat.
