Is it best to match the OCLP Mac version to other computers on the network?

Since Ventura supports my iMac 2017, I have OCLP installed in it only because it allows me to use the iMac 2017 as an extended monitor for my Mac Studio which also ran Ventura, all via wireles network connection.

Today I upgraded my Mac Studio to Sonoma. Now I'm wondering should re-install OCLP in the iMac to run Sonoma? I am not updgrading the Mac Studio to Sequoia because I have critical software that's not ready for Sequoia. So far today I have not witnessed a problem with the two machines using two different Mac OS versions. If it ain't broke don't fix it?

Yes. So long as the screen sharing software is compatible with different macOS versions, and it seems like it is.
