Other Is it crazy to buy an iPhone BECAUSE OF the notch?

The title says it all. I was never much concerned with the old notch. Didn't bother me. I am quite happy with my 13 Pro and did not plan to upgrade. Even the camera updates, which are impressive, are not that important to me because I mostly use my DSLR for photography. BUT, when I saw what they did with the notch -- the Dynamic Island -- I was really very impressed. I think that this would really have a significant impact on my everyday use of the Phone. But is it wort upgrading? Does anyone else upgrade BECAUSE OF this?

Only you can decide if it’s worth upgrading for you.

But yes. Big part of why I’m upgrading from a 13 pro max is the island.

if you have the money , then go for it. Otherwise I don't think it's worth the upgrade

I was not planing on upgrading this year froM my 12 pro. This new dynamic island and always on display is causing me to make the move. Not sure I would if I had just gotten the 13 pro last year but it would be tempting.

I think anyone who can afford it and wants to should upgrade for whatever reason, or no reason at all. People do all kinds of stupid s**t for all kinds of stupid reasons, and this isn’t hurting anyone.

I’m on the iPhone Upgrade Program, so I upgrade annually, because I want to.

It's a key new feature. Sure it's worth upgrading if it interests you. I was going to upgrade anyway but I'm really looking forward to trying it.

Upgraded from my 11 Pro. Would have probably upgraded anyway, but this made it a no-brainer. I've always hated the notch and am glad to see it go.
