Is it just me or IOS 9 is a lot smoother than the IOS 9 GM???

I just started using on my iPhone 6 Plus, and it seems a lot smoother than the GM released a couple of weeks ago.

After following the beta threads I was a little uncertain but after downloading iOS 9 on my iPhone 6 Plus and swiping fast left right and centre I'm a little pushed to see lag or judder

The GM is from last week. It's the same version.
Edit: Apparently they're different!
