It's basically impossible to position the start and of the yellow slider. Wherever you leave them, they jump to somewhere else.

And you can't move the white time slider if it's remotely close to the yellow slider, it just picks up whichever end of the yellow bar is nearest - which wouldn't be so bad if it didn't reset the white time position to the start every time you move the yellow slider.

It's the closest I've come to throwing my iPhone at the floor in raw frustration. This was such an easy task in ios12 and before. It's equally crappy and fiddly for setting the start and end of the slow motion effect.

Is it just me who can't use this, or is this a screw up?

It is frustrating. When I trim a clip I figured out it works better if I start at the end and after that I move the starting point. Like this it at least doesn't jump around anymore, but it's still a lot of try and error to get it where you want it.
