Is it my router?

my internet is soooooo slowwwww...could it be my router? (D-Link DI624) or my motorola surfboard cable modem? If so any recomendations on what to get for best speed?????

It could be any number of things. Describe the ways in which it is slow - for instance, does it try to load pages in your browser and hang? Does your connection suddenly drop?

It could be a DNS issue.

Its just slow at everything involving the internet. Going from one page to another, even posting threads on this forum take up to 30 secs. When I get on my HP laptop and open the same website and then go to another web site at the same time my HP is there about 5-10 secs before my macbook!
