I have only been running the public beta since last week when PB 3 was released and ever since then my iPhone's available storage has been going down like crazy. I have had diagnostic logs take well over 10 GB of space on my iPhone since running the beta. Thank goodness my iPhone is 64GB model. The thing is I have always enabled the share diagnostics info with both Apple and developers but it's never gotten this crazy. Tried disabling sharing diagnostics and turning it back on didn't do anything. Is there any way of deleting old logs?

Is it normal that I have well over 10 GB of diagnostic logs?

Simple, the discrepancy between my apps and data my phone which always have it hovered between 9 to 12 GB before upgrading to the public beta.
But you know, other than app data, music, picture, video etc, system files also take spaces. Those are not counted as any of them. My photo library is 20GB huge but icloud library has only 16GB. I also wonder where those 4GB go to.
I use the optimize storage so I would trust that I do not have my full library locally. My apps don't seem that drastically different from before updating. However my available space is drastically reduced compared to running iOS 9. My iPad also has diagnostics enabled and it doesn't seem to hoard that much space. I can also verify that it doesn't have as many logs as my iPhone running the beta.
I had the same issue, and restoring as new didn't work either. It's done this for me since the first PB.
Do any of you by any chance updated your Mac to sierra with iTunes 12.5? See if it deletes the logs from the idevice ? My Mac is running 10.11.6 with itunes 12.4.x something ( the last public build) where I can't even seem to backup my iPhone running iOS 10 either. Also it does backup all the logs to my Mac but won't delete any of it.

Just restored as new (iphone 6s 16gb) on latest beta and this is what I got:

I have bitten the bullet and and upgrading my Mac to sierra beta in the hopes that syncing with it's version of iTunes will delete the logs from my phone. I am concerned with this fiasco since it just keeps on clogging my storage space every time I am filing a report via the feedback app. Between this issue of not properly deleting old logs and bugs within the feedback app I'm starting to regret testing out the public beta. One thing is to hunt down and report bugs to smooth the new software before release and another thing entirely is to having to grapple with bugs of the tools I am given to report on bugs. The irony isn't lost on me.
