I noticed that in a dark room, I can see the backlight throught he black front between the receiver and the screen. I also noticed that i can see a little of it through the receiver. Am I the only one? This can be easily tested by manually turning the brightness of the screen up in a dark room.

Thats the technical term for where you put your ear. I didn't want to say speaker because that might imply the speakerphone area.

Um.. my iPod does this. The light is very bright and shines through the plastic. It is completley normal.
