Hey, this is my first post on here so hi everyone!
Anyway, I recently got an iMac G5 - and when I say recently - I mean christmas.
Its specs - I have recently noticed arn't the best! 1 G5 processor with 1.5GB of RAM! And I'm using this machine for PS CS3 and FCP! Is it perhaps time to move on to the entry level iMac? I'd just like to hear your thoughts and maybe suggest a different machine!

I also would prefer to stick to intel - because there are some times where I do need windows - e.g syncing my phone (N95) with windows - its just more convenient.

Also - My final Cut rendering isn't major its just 5 minute long videos - but with quite a lot of effects on them!

Are you using native (intel) versions of the Adobe apps, or PowerPC versions? Because if they're powerpc, you can run them on Intel under Rosetta, but you may lose some performance.

If you're already feeling the Mac is getting slow for you, you've got money set aside for a new computer, and you don't have any other immediate expenses, then I say go for it.
