I code and I use Metabob on my laptop and I was thinking about getting the latest iPad. I've been really into coding and I spent a lot of time on it currently. Have any of you guys used a debugging code tool on an iPad? I know it is probably but I would like to know how the experience is.

BTW, I use

if you guys wanna check it out!!

No I don’t think so.
You have to use cloud solution or remote to your Mac/PC.

What do you code?

I am a coder myself and some niche use cases are doable on device (vanilla react, node). For me as a web dev programming goes a bit further and needs stuff like on-device compilation which is where ugly iPadOS turns its head.

It’s doable with an external device such as a nas and blink for ssh. However its a massive productivity loss almost not worth it anymore since good chips are now also available for MacOS.
