iOS Is it possible to create bullet lists in Text View?

Yesterday I asked a question about creating bulleted lists but failed to mention that it needs to be in Text View.

The reply I got was for a Table View format. But would like to create a list in text view.

Is this possible?

You could do it in HTML in a UIWebView. Don't know of any official API to format a text view.

Thanks for your reply. UIWebView in iPhone is read only (not editable). And I would like my user to create a list on the fly.

The users types up their list separating each line with a carriage return. When they are done the application displays the list with bullets in front of each item.
