iOS 13 iPhone 11 pro. Grade school son has figured out that at anytime, even while phone is locked, he can grab the phone and take a screenshot (vol-up + power). Over and over again (repeat...). Also if the thumbnail of the snapshot is touched the photo editor app opens up and then he can (and does) scribble and draw things on the photo. My photos app is filling up with these creative masterpieces. Since various disciplinary actions that come to mind are out of vogue now can this 'feature' be turned off?

They aren’t out of vogue in my household. A good hiding would soon follow if the kid doesn’t do what he is told after multiple times. Queue the #snowflakes

But in answer to your question sorry I can’t help, maybe someone else will.

Edit: seems like it can’t be done vvvv

Ah yes. Multitasking strikes again. Thanks. Excuse the reply. Maybe iOS 15...or more time honored methods with my son!

As someone who works with a lot of pranksters, this is hysterical. I’d love to see these masterpieces... and thanks for the idea lol.

You can turn off screenshot ability completely using a configuration profile (Apple Configurator).
