I really do not like the Yosemite+ version of Preview because the text box annotation is completely retarded. Is it possible to downgrade Preview on Sierra all the way back to the Mavericks version of Preview?

I'm trying to do this due to weird photo resizing/fit to screen issues with preview on Sierra and have just looked into doing this method using my old El Capitan preview app. However, the El Capitan preview app just has a white no entry sign on it when transferred to Sierra and if I double click on the app it just says that it's not compatible. It might be something to do with not having the file from the privateframework folder outlined in that link but on El Capitan there is no meshkit.framework file to transfer. Is there a different file that I need to transfer to make El Capitan Preview (preview 8.1) compatible with Sierra, or is it just not possible?
