Can you download a previous version of iOS direct from Apple, that's still being signed, eg 11.2.2?

I can't seem to find a link anywhere and it only appears on 3rd party sites, which apparently link to apple servers.

That's essentially they way--you are downloading it direct from Apple, just that Apple doesn't list direct links themselves.
