Is it possible to find out which Apple id that have been used to lock an Iphone

Hello

I got my hands on a Iphone 4s at work, because the previous user have locked it with find my iphone and is no longer working here any more.
The guys that are responsible for the phones would have thrown it out.

Is it possible to find out which Apple ID that have been used to lock the phone ?
Apple is no help, even if we can prove that it's our phone.

When i try to activate the phone it asks me for an apple id b****@h****.dk
If i can find out what email it's asking for, then I can ask for a password reset, and take a look at the mail server as I am working in the IT department.

So is it possible or not ? otherwise it will end it's life together with a lot of other useless garbage.

A password reset on the email account is not going to help you. The email is just a user-code on the Applied with a separate password that is only stored on the Apple servers.

if it's a company property, the corp should have a PO record. you can then use it as a proof of ownership, I think Apple unlocks that stuff with that record, call them up https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201232

OP: Someone in the company should have records of who owns/owned which phone. At the very least, you could try to get a list of people starting with "B" that left recently.

That's correct, it's the Apple ID, that I am trying to reset.

Problem is, that we have a lot of people that starts with B, and sadly the phone guys can't tell me who had the phone last.

We had the same problem with an Ipad, and we had proof that we bought it, but Apple refused to help, as it was how their security worked.
So it ended up with all the other garbage 8-(

There's many obvious reasons why Apple or anyone cannot give you the full email address of the icloud account.
If someone in your company did their job right you'd know what device was assigned to who and have all the info available.
You wouldn't be posting at a random online forum.

Public forum, we can post our opinion as much as we want.
Not sure if I even believe any of this company email story or that you have so many users that start with the letter "B" and 5 letters long and you can't narrow down who's it was
More like you want to get their full email address for other illegitimate reasons.
Good luck but with whatever your plans are but it's not going to happen.
