Is it possible to get a Wacom Intuos 3 to work in Monterey?

I am upgrading from Sierra to Monterey and would like to keep using my trusty Intuos 3 tablet. It is ancient, but I see no reason to replace it.

Regarding modern OS compatibility I've read different things online. Has anybody tried this?

Sweet! I am always a bit careful about installing software like that, but I guess it's safe enough. And it's incredible that someone went through the trouble to create and share that.
