Is it possible to have semi transparent virtual keyboard on iPad?

Hello, I am using a 12.9" IPP 2017. I like the virtual keyboard but it occupies about 40% of the screen. Is there an app that allows semi-transparent keyboard so that I can view more or even the entire screen while typing?

I don’t think so. Either hide the onscreen keyboard when you want to see more screen or alternatively use an external keyboard- that way you get the space on the screen back too.
