Now that many apps can be locked behind the passcode or FaceID/TouchID, I was wondering if folders from File App could be locked, natively, behind a password or the passcode.

Does anyone know if this is possible? Or even if it means using Focus modes.

Thank you.

In a van down by the river
I just locked my Files app to require a passcode.
Tap and hold Files icon, select Require Passcode.
Force close the Files app and reopen
I thought the OP was asking about locking a folder in the Files app.

“I was wondering if folders from File App could be locked, natively, behind a password or the passcode.”

Yeah, I was interested in this, but now that I think about it, not even macOS has this feature, only making an encrypted volume with the folder if I recall correctly.

Yes my bad I was referring to kitKAC's response about locking the whole Files app.
Any case, without enforced biometrics, the Require Passcode lock is weak.
