Hi guys,
I have a Macbook air A1369, the keyboard With an EU layout is not working anymore.
So I have de buy another one from Amazon US but all of them are with an US layout!
So I would like to know if I can just Swap EU buttons from the old one and put it in the US one because it won't fit the Aluminum uppercase of the macbook.
I would like to know if it's possible or not. Thank you.

Sorry, but you didn't get my question.
the main difference between the US and the EU layout is the ENTER button so I want to put the ENTER button of the EN keyboard in the US because I don't want to replace the top case: the keyboard costs only 20$ but the top case with keyboard costs 100$ +-
That's why!

I think that the keys under the keycaps are physically different.

Also, I want to note that the keyboard on the MacBook Air is riveted in. You need a dike to remove those rivets and the process is quite tedious.

When I said "the process is quite difficult", I am talking about removing the rivets.

Also, which model MacBook Air is this? i.e. Mid 2011

I just wanted to add that it is possible to put a US keyboard in a UK MacBook Air. I did it last night. Had no choice. Buddy of mine asked me to fixed his gfs computer. I said no problem! Ordered the keyboard, like an idiot I didn’t check the keyboard since I assumed it was from here. Well his gf is from the Netherlands. Just my luck. I tore the computer down, destroyed the old keyboard when I removed it. So I modified two spots on the keyboard and bam! Oh yeah I had to finish it last night since she was leaving to go back home today!!! Mission accomplished!
