is it possible to put my music onto my ipad

I have had a stroke and I only use my ipad to use my speech therapy software. I would like to put some of my music onto the ipad but I don't know how to do this, or even if it is possible. It is the PC at the moment. Could anyone help me to do this. I am 70 years old and have never had an ipad before, although I do know how to use my PC.

I take it that it’s a Windows computer (as you’ve referred to it as a PC).

You’ll need to install the iTunes application on your PC (either from Apple’s website or from the Windows store).

You’ll then need to add your music to iTunes. See: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/itunes/itns3081/12.11/windows/10

Then plug your iPad into the PC and sync your music over to it. See: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/itunes/itns5ecc4d98/12.11/windows/10

Can't you just turn on your Icloud music library on both the PC and Ipad and it should happen automatically? On the computer you do Edit>Preferences>Icloud Music Library. Then on the Ipad there is a setting to turn it on as well.

Don’t you have to subscribe to iTunes Match for that?

Yes, either iTunes Match or Apple Music will enable library sync.

Yes, $24/year. If the OP doesn't like iTunes, he can use iMazing on the PC side.
