Is it possible to remove tabs from safari?

Is it possible to have Safari be like it used to be instead of having tabs for the ipad? Thanks.

Personal preference. I haven't found a way yet. My wife likes it the other way also. Hopefully there is a way to get it back. I will keep looking!

There's a reason I prefer browsing on my tablet instead of a desktop/laptop. It's cleaner. It's simpler. It's more pleasing. Old Safari was the future. This is a step backwards.

Why do you "pro-tab" people keep trolling others' posts about tabs? He didn't ask for your opinion, he asked if anyone knew how to remove them. If you like them, great... Move on.

If you prefer only having one tab open at a time, it doesn't make much sense to take up space with a single tab that is spread across the entire screen.

IMO the option should be that anything less than 2 tabs and the bar disappears.

Yes, I don't care for the extra space the tabs take up, plus they are near my bookmark bar which makes for mistakes.
