macOS Is it possible to resize photos and upload to FTP with Applescript?

I have an online gallery with Zenphoto. It allows uploads via FTP. Ive seen some applescripts that resize photos in batches, but I also would like to upload them in batches also. Is this possible with Applescript? Anyone seen a script like this before?

It's certainly possible with AppleScript, but it's probably also possible using Automator, which might be much easier for you if you're not a programmer. I know you can FTP with Automator and I think you can resize photos with Preview, or better yet using Photoshop Automator actions if you have it (there is a guy who puts out these actions, you have to download and install them, but they are free).
