I would like to put iOS 14 on my iPhone 13 Pro Max so I can load my Apple card on my watch series 2. Does anyone know if this would work to put iOS14.8 onto my iPhone 13? I recently made the mistake of unpairing and repairing my Apple watch 2 and now with iOS 15 coming out Apple no longer supports adding Apple Card to watch series 2

Thank you

No

You can’t load an operating system that predates the hardware. At least not in the Apple world

Thank you, I was hoping it was possible. I'm really missing not being able to use my apple card on my watch. It's a series 2 black stainless and still in great shape. I really don't want to have to upgrade. It just doesn't make sense to me why Apple no longer will support it. All my other cards work, just not the Apple Card.

It's probably due to it's not supported in the older version of Watch OS. I'm guessing you can't run the current version on your series 2? You would really love the new Apple Watch. I love my series 6 so maybe if you can find one on sale now that the series 7 is out. The only negative I can see about upgrading now is I think with the series 8 they are going with a big design change. Of course that can happen anytime so.
