wait for little longer. they will probably make mac version like Bioshock 1. or you can simply install bootcamp, and window 7 or XP to play it.

System Shock 2 runs fine in Wine...
Use Wine (command line on Macs...) or a Tool that uses Wine.. Wineskin works good, though I'm biased since I make it, but for the overall easiest use with support, look at Crossover Games... it uses Wine as well.. its just not free.

When I tried it in wine everything was upside down. But that was a while ago...
