My girlfriend and I were goofing with an iPhone XS at the Apple Store, and took some photos, including a depth-effect selfie. They came out so good that I airdropped them to my iPhone 7 Plus.

Sadly I find that I can't adjust the virtual aperture of the photo, neither on my iPhone 7 Plus, or on my Mac, even though it says "Depth Effect" for the photo so both devices know that it was taken with Depth Effect.

Is there a way to Airdrop photos from an XS to another device "unbaked", so that the receiving device can make adjustments? I haven't decided yet if I'm buying the XS yet but I"m really curious about this because being able to do this after the fact adjustments is one of the neatest perks.

Why didn't you test it yourself by airdropping from one demo XS to another...?
