Basically, I used to use cracked apps, lots of them. Those days are dead. I buy all of my apps now.

Is there any way, whether in iTunes or some other program, to separate the cracked apps from the legal apps? I'm trying to free up space on my hard drive, and I'm sure I can knock out a few GBs by deleting all of my cracked apps. I have over 500 apps in my iTunes, and regardless of whether I use most of them or not, I don't want to unintentionally delete any apps I've legally bought.

Can't you just redownload your legal apps?

Theoretically, yes, but I'd have to keep a list of all of them, and then redownload them. This would take days to do with my school's internet connection. I was hoping there would be a way to separate them.

You don't need to make a list. Just delete everything and then go into purchases and download from there. Yes you'll still need to use your network connection but that's the price you pay for having pirated to start with.

Yea, I doubt Apple has devised a way to do that...

Obviously, they haven't. I was able to sort out a bunch of them by deleting all of them that didn't have metadata. Many of them do have proper metadata, though. Maybe there would be some other attribute I could use to separate them.

Idea... Might be awkward, but it'll help you. Go to your Apps tab, double click iTunes so it opens in a new window, and then go to Purchased/Apps. and sort by name. Even if the app is no longer in the App Store, it'd still be listed, so you can go through them like that.
