Im trying to share my latop or comapny's IE to enable me to donwload some larger applications over 10mb from the office instead of waiting to get home. Not a huge problem but it has been becoming annoying.

i have been trying to setup a peer to peer with no luck and though I would ask you if you knew a way. There is no router (wireless here)

System Preferences -> Sharing -> highlight internet sharing, check ethernet, then check internet sharing itself.

If you're using Windows, then I don't know.

I'm not sure i understand this line. If you have wireless, cant you just connect your iPhone to the wireless network?

If you just have a wired connection to your computer you might be able to connect your iPhone to the wireless card in the same computer ( if it has one).

It is possible. I assume you are hardwired and have wifi on your top.

You should be able to use that internet and turn it into a access point.

Google some keywords.
