I have a question I’m hoping someone can answer for me. I use Apple Music and I have a HomePod and HomePod Mini (in different physical rooms) that I’m able to stream music to simultaneously. So, I can go from one part of the house to another and the same music is playing through different rooms. I do this through Airplay by selecting both Homepods to stream to.
I also have an Echo (in another physical room). Now, I can stream my Apple music to the Echo that works fine. I can also stream Apple Music to the two HomePods (simultaneously). No problem. However, I can’t figure out how to stream to all 3 devices simultaneously. Is it possible?
In the Apple Music app, I can select both HomePods to stream to (via Airplay). However, when I try and then select the Echo too (via Airplay), the HomePods are “deselected”. So, it looks like it’s an either/or thing (ie either homepod(s) or Echo…but not both at the same time).
