I would like to connect an external display to my 5K iMac to play some games on it. Can I turn off the iMac's screen in Bootcamp Win 10, so the gpu only have to drive the connected TV? Also, what cable should I use for this? :}

Thanks!

I'm not sure since I don't have a second monitor and haven't tried it before, but there might be something in the GPU settings about multiple displays? I know I have options on my NVIDIA settings, so there might be something similar for AMD?

I figured out that in Windows 10 if I press win+p there should be an option that says second screen only. Is there someone who can actually try this with an external screen?

I am 99% sure it works. cant test it right now.

you can use a mini-display-port to HDMI cable
