Good Morning/Afternoon Everyone --
First off apologies if this has been specifically answered in another thread; I did search but could not locate a specific answer to this question beyond side comments...and if there was a thread, please feel free to hurl putrid fruit at me and my meger search skills.
Like many of you one of the key reasons for purchasing the iPad revolved around the data option that was being offered. Now without getting into the ATT/Apple should/should not do this/that because they're horrible/awesome, I am curious to just exactly what ATT's position is on allowing us to update our billing information.
I've read the stories where ATT claims a payment method fails - and subsequently kicks a customer off the plan - but I am still unclear as to how one updates their billing information (say a credit card expires or the issuer changes the number) without loosing the plan.
Obviously I can understand ATT changing policies, albeit with disappointment, but I do think current plan subscribers have an intrinsic right to update their payment method without loosing their current plan as credit card numbers, per industry standard practices, will change over the years...and I fail to see why ATT can use this as an excuse to penalize customers over something they have no control over. (And obviously if a customer misses a payment or their credit card declines that's a different story)
So anyways the long story short is I'm curious as to if anyone here knows how one changes their ATT billing information, if possible, without loosing their current plan.
Thanks!
