As stated I’ve got a m4 iPad Pro 13” and an older surface go that I haven’t used in ages. Is it possible to use it as a second monitor for this IPad?

I’ve not used a second monitor set up before so I’m not exactly sure of the process but I’ve tried turning on stage monitor and connected them with a usbc to usbc cable and wasn’t able to get it anywhere.

I’ve found in the surface go settings a ‘project to this PC’ setting but it looks like its coming from a window app for wireless projection.

Thanks,
Brad

Not sure how that would work using a cable.
Sure if the Surface Go had a USB port you can use as input but I don't think that's the case.

Maybe a third party software on the PC that could enable Airplay, like Airserver or similar, and would make it possible to mirror your iPads screen to the Surface.

Project to PC uses Miracast, which iPads do not support (only Samsung Android tablets or other Windows PCs do). There are third party softwares that allow you to mirror to the Surface Go, but remember that's not a second display, that just a mirror of what you see on the iPad. Nothing else is possible
