Hello everyone,
I am planning to buy a new iMac and I want to know if it's possible to format the SSD drive and use it as an os.
I heard somewhere you can break the fusion and use the SSD drive manually as an storage.
And what I want to do is, formatting both SSD and HDD, then Install Windows 8 on SSD and use HDD drive as storage. I know it may be weird to format the preinstalled Mac os and use the SSD drive manually. But I buy this system for it's hardware, design and quality. not the OS. most of the applications I use only runs on windows. So excuse me for this weird request.
Also, I believe there is a 2TB limit for MBR. So I can't setup this with a 3TB drive, right ?
Thanks in advance.
