I wanted to get some of my favorite Beatles albums for the service. I'm worried they'll be deleted or messed up tho
The albums definitely won't be deleted or otherwise, but rumor has it Apple is working on a deal to add The Beatles to Music.
Apple will not remove your non drm music; it doesn't belong to them.No really, they might. It's happened. They won't be deleted from your "purchased music" unless you do that yourself, but they might be removed from your device/computer, renamed, given incorrect art, replaced with DRM'd versions, etc. Read this:

Just back up everything you buy. You should be doing that anyway, but this is a case in which being diligent about is going to be pretty important.
