Is it safe to buy a MagSafe 2 charger if it’s sold by Amazon itself?

I found this on Amazon which seems to be selling for significantly cheaper than anyone else.

Any idea if this is an OEM charger? I generally wouldn’t trust it but this one says it’s shipped and sold by Amazon.

A quick look at the Question and Answers section on the page you linked to seems to indicate that this is not an Apple product. In general, I avoid buying electronics from Amazon. Too many horror stories. Of course, your milage may vary.

If the price (on amazon) looks "too good to be true", it probably is.

I reckon there are as many fakes and "knockoffs" sold on amazon, as there are "Apple originals" (at least where chargers are concerned).

Again, look at the "questions and answers" on the amazon page.

When it comes to charging products for Apple devices, I stick with buying from Apple. Amazon has gotten to the point where it can't be trusted.
