I'm not a heavy user, mostly using for travel and occasionally in office. Otherwise, they're sitting on a wireless charging pad. Especially since travel has been shut down, I haven't used them much and I notice the charging indicator occasionally turning on while sitting on the charging pad. That made me wonder whether there's any concern with leaving it on there for extended periods of time and the micro-discharges leading to the charging kicking back in repeatedly.

Apart from anecdotes I don’t think anybody can tell you much more in terms of wireless charging effects.

I usually remove anything that doesn’t need charging from there charger myself, but that’s just what I’m doing. I can’t say for sure wether or not that’s a better approach and I’m not sure if you’ll see a difference in 2-3 years of lifetime that these will have anyway.
