Earlier this year I had unlocked my iphone using ziphone for international travel. I relocked it back again using ziphone once I returned. Now my question is, if it safe to upgrade to 2.0?

I don't know much about bootloader or anything else. Ziphone said that it will restore in original factory settings. Does that mean it is safe to upgrade? Any inputs/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advace.

At the moment you should not upgrade your unlocked version 1.0 iPhone to the version 2.0 software. Some have done this and ended up with a locked handset.

Does that mean even though I had my iphone relocked using ziphone months back, it is not safe to upgrade?

I am a bit confused.

Thanks
