Is it Still a Pain Whenever there's Upgrade on Windows to Go with Windows 11?

Hi. Is still a pain to upgrade Window to Go with Windows 11 (you can easily create now, Windows to Go with third-party apps).
Last experience with Windows to Go is it won't upgrade to the next iteration of Windows, so I had to go back to Boot Camp. It's better if Windows is on its own separate drive, especially on the current iMac, whereby you can't just open the unit, without breaking the screen's adhesives.

There are additional options if you would like to run a single X86 Windows app like e.g. Crossover.

None implies opening whatever Mac model you like to use.
