I just got another iPhone 3G, this time the gorgeous white 16GB one. Upgraded the firmware to 2.0.1, and am good to go.
So what does jailbreaking entail? What happens when the next incremental firmware upgrade comes out? Will I have to "un"-jailbreak the phone to perform an OS update?
Finally, what are the biggest benefits? I'd like to get the copy/paste and MMS functionalities enabled. Is that possible? And this is also about 3rd party apps, I take it? Please help a very interested, and passionate about his second new iPhone 3G!
