I am on iPhone 5s 7.1.2 not jailbroken yet.

I would like to jailbreak my iPhone 5s now

Now that signing of ios7.1.2 is stopped will I be able to do a restore ?

All I can think off is to do a reset in my phone to start fresh

Do you guys think it's wise to jailbreak now or am I too late?

Thanks

Is it too late to jailbreak now?

Then, IMO, it may be too late.

I would not try to jailbreak an OTA-updated phone WITHOUT having the option to restore the iOS.

You could try using Pangu. Worse case it doesn't work, Pangu will say "jailbreak failed" but won't do any harm to the phone. you will NOT be able to do a restore any more as 7.1.2 has closed.

Hmm my bad. Wasted many days. Guess have to try. Worst case switch to iOS 8.0.2. Been readings the forum and /r/jailbreak the amount of small tweaks are so great. Just thought of doing it over the weekend and rightly so apple pulled the plugs on ios 7.1.2
