Ok so I jailbroke my iPhone a while ago with blackrain and then later on noticed the update with blacksnow that unlocks the phone. So i updated it, is it unlocked now or are there a few more steps?
I was wondering cause I would like to get the "unlimited" data off my plan. So i thought if i lied to att and said i lost my iphone but have another phone i can use and wont need the internet. Then they would just take that off and i would just simply keep using my iPhone and not have to worry about the internet. I would just use wifi only..is that possible or what?

You don't need to be jailbroken or unlocked in order to do that. However, AT&T can tell what phone you are using. So you will need to put your SIM chip into another phone (a non-smart one) before calling AT&T and asking them to take off your data plan. Then, when you put your SIM chip back into your iPhone, AT&T will be able to tell you are still using an iPhone. There has been conflicting repots about whether or not they will do anything about it.
