Is it work getting the apple TV on my connection?

So im thinking of getting an app,le tv but my internet connection is HORRIBLE! i get about 1mb.... 1.2mb on a good day. So if im....say about to rent a new cinema movie, and it starts to buffer, how long will i have to let it buffer until I can start watching? will it be 'stopping and starting'?

I have the same connection as you and i've waited 49hours so far and i still cant watch, its loaded about half way. Quicker to rent on itunes and then airplay across to ATV

You'll need to switch to SD rentals in the Settings unless you want long wait times with that kind of connection. Still shouldn't be as long as the previous poster said though with HD.
