So, my phone slid out of my pocket and hit a stone floor... causing the screen to partially shatter. AppleCare+ took care of it for only $30 or so, but we only get two of these repairs.
I think I have a slight crack in my screen again now (somehow), so I'm sort of afraid if I don't upgrade to the Xs, Xr, or Xs Max, I might end up paying full price for a screen repair just to trade the phone in at a later date.
I'm sort of wondering about the economics of this, since I probably wouldn't upgrade this year aside from the wear to my device and to get another two screen repairs from AppleCare+. Has anyone been in a similar situation this year, or is still in it now?
