I currently own a Powerbook G4, 1GHZ, 1GB RAM...I looked on ebay and saw one go for 800.00...now assuming i could get mine for that then does it make since to buy a new macbook? just the cheapest one

Here is the other thing, i AM going to buy a mac mini at the end of the summer...So does it make sense to buy a laptop too? Or should i just wait and have both worlds (PPC and intel).

I say get rid of what you have now, and buy the cheapest Mac Book, with education discount, or Mac Mall, it doesn't matter just get it cheap.

Then buy a 2GB RAM kit, and you'll be set!

well if that machine is serving you well stick with it and get the latest and greatest when that PB no longer suits you.

if you NEED more power than go with another and sell asap.
